We are experiencing significant growth and require the assistance of an Estate Litigation Partner to join our Estate Litigation Department in our New York, NY office.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage caseload of complex and high-net-worth trust and estate litigation matters, including court appearances, motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations/mediations, and other estate litigation activities
  • Supervise and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level team members
  • Actively contribute to business development, networking, and the firm’s growth strategy
  • Maintain excellent client relationships and uphold the firm’s high standards or service and professionalism

Required:
  • 7+ years of experience in trust and estate litigation, administration, probate, and related private client work, ideally performed within a law firm
  • Strong working knowledge of the SCPA, EPTL, and other relevant tax, trusts, and estates legislation
  • Prior experience in supervising or managing junior team members, with a demonstrable ability to lead and inspire a plus
  • Strong writing skills and experience with motion practice (written and oral argument)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to client service and relationship building

Salary Range: $175- $200K
